how to get 400–800 variational points before TGE

文章目录

in this article i'll share the exact strategies i'm using to farm @variational_io points before tge even though i'm diluting myself and the cabal but hopefully someone reaches their points goal through it.

if you're new, create an account: join: omni.variational.io/?ref=OMNIGIVENO code: OMNIGIVENO (18% boost on points)

strategy 1: farm the forgotten & new tradfi pairs

everyone is spamming big volume on gold and the swap pairs. that's where the crowd is, so that's where points are hardest to get.

the gold mines are the tradfi pairs nobody is touching, especially the newly listed ones.

step 1: find the low-oi pairs scan every tradfi pair listed on variational and favourite every pair with under $100k open interest. that's your watchlist.

step 2: get your setups screenshot your favourites and paste them into claude or grok. ask for pair trading setups between correlated names.

there are two types of pair:

pairs that move opposite → long both

  • $SOXL / $SOXS

  • they cancel each other out, so longing both keeps you close to neutral

pairs that move together → long one, short the other

  • $XPD / $XPT

  • long the stronger one and short the weaker one

either way, set a take profit and stop loss on each position.

step 3: or go directional if you'd rather not pair trade, pick a single asset and get a read on it first:

  • ask the pear agent to analyse the asset and tell you if it's bullish or bearish

  • cross-check with the true north agent and pacifica's agent

  • paste the chart into grok for another opinion

when they agree, you have your direction.

step 4: size small, protect the downside low oi means wide spreads. keep positions around $1k–2k, and always set a take profit and stop loss before you walk away.

why it works less attention means less competition for the same points. you're holding oi where almost nobody else is, so every dollar goes further.

strategy 2: delta-neutral with phoenix, popdex or txflow

variational lists a lot of tickers, and plenty of them still sit at $200k–300k open interest. most of those are also listed on phoenix, popdex and txflow, and that overlap is your edge.

step 1: find the overlap pick the low-oi variational assets that are also listed on:

  • phoenix: phoenix.trade/?code=GIVENO

  • popdex: app.popdex.xyz/tools/app-launch?referralCode=GIVENO

  • txflow: app.txflow.com/r/TXGIVENO

step 2: follow the funding check which venue pays more funding on each asset. take the side that gets paid, and hedge the opposite side on the other venue.

step 3: size it right at least $4k–5k per position. equal size on both legs so price moves cancel out.

step 4: hold until you've covered your costs hold for a couple of days until funding has covered your fees and the spread.

once you're covered, don't wait for profit. you're here to extract points, not pnl. close immediately and open it again.

step 5: stack positions run 5–7 of these at once. seven positions at $5k each adds open interest fast. close and reopen every 3 days.

the numbers do this consistently and you'll build $500k–900k volume on these low-oi assets. for me that's been around 100 points a week.

strategy 3: swaps (for bigger accounts)

swaps give 2x points until tge, but this one is for people with size.

step 1: wait for tight spreads swaps on pairs like US100 and US500 sometimes get very tight spreads. at those moments i've pushed $1M in volume for about $25 in cost.

that's the window. don't force it when spreads are wide.

step 2: push volume in that window when spreads are tight, that's when you push your swap volume hard.

step 3: keep oi on the book while you do it this is the part most people miss.

variational does billions in volume a day, and most of it is people churning. volume alone won't get you enough points, because everyone is doing exactly that.

keep a solid amount of open interest running alongside your swap volume. oi is what amplifies and sustains the volume, and that combination is where the points come from.

strategy 4: weekend funding arb

rwa markets are closed on weekends, so positioning gets one-sided and funding gets weird.

  • short the leg with positive funding, long the leg with negative funding, same sector

  • you collect funding on both sides while avoiding weekday volatility

some of my best funding days have come from weekend spikes and you get to create volume for free.

strategy 5: variational competitions

variational runs trading competitions that usually last two weeks, with 20k points paid out at the end of each one.

use them to farm volume twice.

how it works any volume you do during the competition counts towards two things at once:

  • your normal weekly points

  • the competition, which pays bonus points when it ends

same volume, two rewards.

why it matters the bonus points from the competition help cover your farming costs for those two weeks, so you're stacking extra points on volume you were already doing.

when a competition is live, that's the time to push harder.

final word

volume alone won't get you there. everyone is churning the same pairs for the same points.

find the quiet pairs. hold the oi. let the points stack.
