VERONA LANDS IN SEOUL

Verona is heading into Korea Blockchain Week with a lot more than a booth and a few events.

There has been a lot happening around the project lately, but today feels different because several things are coming together at the same time.

Today, September 28, Verona is expected to reveal what it has described as its biggest announcement of the year.

Then the team heads into Seoul for Korea Blockchain Week, where people can actually meet the team, hear more about the announcement, and get a better understanding of where @Verona_dev is taking its infrastructure.

That part is important to me because Verona has never really been about building another AI product that simply gives you answers.

The bigger idea is around giving AI agents access to information that can actually be verified, while keeping the underlying data connected to the people and systems that generated it.

Think about how much information AI systems depend on today.

A lot of it comes from the open web, APIs, databases and platforms that can change, disappear, or become difficult to verify. Verona is approaching the problem from another direction by creating a layer where real-world interactions can become verified data that agents can use.

That is also why the recent growth around the ecosystem matters.

@Verona_dev has already brought more than 150 brands into its ecosystem and has processed millions of verified interactions. It has also been working with companies and applications that can turn those verified interactions into useful products and revenue opportunities.

Now that conversation is moving to Seoul.

From September 29 to October 1, the Verona team will be at KBW with a booth where people can meet the team and learn more about what is being built.

Burnt Banksy, Verona’s CEO, is also scheduled to speak about the bigger picture behind the infrastructure and why verified data could become increasingly important as AI agents become more capable.

There is also a founder session today, September 28, at Spark Plus Seolleung, alongside other projects, giving people another chance to hear directly from the people building in this space.

And yes, there is some limited Verona merch involved too.

But honestly, the interesting part isn’t the merch or even the booth.

It is the timing.

Verona is making a major announcement today and then putting the people behind it in a room where builders, users and other teams can ask questions about what it actually means.

That creates a much better conversation than simply dropping an announcement on X and moving on.

For me, this is where Verona’s positioning starts to make more sense.

If AI agents are going to make decisions, interact with applications and eventually handle more of our digital lives, the information they work with cannot simply be treated as random data pulled from wherever.

There needs to be a way to know where that information came from, whether it can be verified, and how it can be used.

That is the problem Verona has been working around.

Now Seoul becomes the place where the next part of that story starts becoming clearer.

Today brings the announcement.

KBW brings the people.

And the interesting part will be seeing how those two pieces connect.

RT for more updates on the success of the meet up 😁
