Right, I've been scrolling through Next Fest since October 8, and the AI vibe-coded slop seems never-ending. I get it, but don't give up on Next Fest yet.
I've been playing and writing and compiling demos worth noticing for over a week and, rather than working my ass off to get everything a spot on TNT, I figured a list of games worth noticing might do more good here than it does there.
Don't worry, I'll be doing more Next Fest work after the event is done and I have a ton of articles still scheduled.
If you see a game below, it's been made with passion, blood, sweat, probably some tears, and more often than not, a lack of marketing budget. These are the demos you should be playing and the devs you should be supporting. Go play, share this list if you want, let's get these games seen before they get swallowed up amid the horde.
