We’re making more room for that process: opening Hi3D V1.0 to the community, connecting creation tools through Hi3D Agent and Hi3D MCP, and making each 3D generation more affordable.

Hi3D V1.0: Production-Tested. Now Open Source

Hi3D V1.0 has already been used in real production workflows. Developers and creators can download the model, run it in their own environments, and build it into their tools and applications under the release license.

Its roots go back to Sparc3D, which Creative Shrimp—a 3D education team—described as “Revolutionary” in 2025 while exploring its potential for asset creation.

Hi3D V1.0 builds on that research, combining Sparcubes, a sparse geometry representation, with Sparconv-VAE to preserve detail through compression and reconstruction. That means paying attention to complex topology, small components, and fine structures as well as the overall shape.

The training dataset has grown from 500,000 assets in the original Sparc3D setup to approximately two million 3D assets, with additional training data for 1536³ sparse-grid resolution.

Explore the research, test it on your own inputs, integrate it into a pipeline, or use the generated geometry as the starting point for your next project.

Hi3D Agent: Moving Your Project Forward

Hi3D Agent connects AI with tools for images, geometry, textures, and meshes, bringing generation, editing, and optimization into a continuous creative workflow. Built-in Skills support specific goals, including model optimization, interactive experiences, and animation.

For example, a generated asset can be optimized and placed in an interactive scene to create a playable demo. Hi3D Agent demonstrations show how a generated model can become part of a working application.

You set the creative direction. The Agent helps organize and execute the next steps.

Working in Cursor or Claude Desktop? With Hi3D MCP configured and authorized, you can ask your AI assistant to generate a 3D model from an image without leaving your existing workspace.

Your assistant can submit the task, check its progress, and retrieve the model’s download link and preview when it’s ready.
